ServiceNow (help.rit.edu)

• Project Request: Before using Research Computing services, please fill out this questionnaire to provide us with details about your research and your computational needs. Please be specific. Once your Project is approved, it will be set up in ColdFront.
• Modify Project Membership: This functionality is now available in ColdFront! Check out our ColdFront Tutorial to learn how.
• Consultation Request: If you need assistance with optimizing your computational workflow, debugging an error message, or would like to talk to us about a grant proposal/data management plan, please fill out this form.
• Spack Environment Request: If you need a new spack environment, or need your existing environment updated, please fill out this form.
• Storage Request: If you need a shared storage directory on the cluster, please fill out this form. Note: If you are just looking for standard Project storage (e.g. /shared/rc/), this functionality is now available in ColdFront! Check out our ColdFront Tutorial to learn how.
• Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Request: If you need a DOI for a digital research asset, please fill out this form.
• Other Requests: If you have another kind of request, please use this form. External researchers who do not have access to ServiceNow can also use this form.

Slack

We use slack to notify researchers about events (e.g. maintenance windows, unplanned outages, special events) and otherwise keep you informed (#rc-announcemnts). You are also welcome to ask questions via slack (#rc-general).
